Sunday...

It's Sunday and it's my only day off from my restaurant/deli, but I still managed to make 65 sandwiches and 70 cookies for our local National Guard. They showed up with open arms and warm smiles and left with full bellies! It's been a peaceful day. I have decided to have pasta and tomato/basil sauce with a roasted chicken for dinner. My little Hannah requested this family favorite. We have a litte bit of Italian in our blood so it's a meal that we seem to need to have once in a while. Dinner will be delicious and the down time will be priceless.
