so i bought a new pressure cooker....

i normally use the rocker type pressure cookers, however since my pressure cooker is an 8 quart and sometimes just to BIG for ski and i, i wanted to downsize. so i bought a 4 quart today, however it is a non rocker type. i would call it automatic? hell i dont know what to call it but this is what it looks like; From misc2008 my understanding these type of pressure cookers are suppose to be safer. now, personally the only time i saw a pressure cooker explode was when i was little and my stepmum was not paying attention and open the damn thing when it was not fully cool. let's just say chicken dumplings all over the kitchen. i plan on using it tonight for some snazzy fajitas i will be cooking. my thing is does it make noise like the rocker style? i mean seriously i know my timing by hard using a rocker. no need for timers, since i have been using one...well FOREVER. seriously folks, a pressure cooker is my first memory in the kitchen, besides decorating cakes. and we are speaking at least 30 years. so...i guess i will have to give my review after tonight is overwith.
