PSA: Pumpkin fudge? Meh.

So the pumpkin fudge recipe I tried was bleah -- It didn't set up right, and it doesn't really taste so great anyway. My tried-and-true pumpkin cranberry bread, however, was perfect as usual. I had a bit more pumpkin and used a bit less water than the recipe calls for -- very, very moist. On to the dinner roundup, working backwards. Lazy Monday: veggie burgers and pierogies Sunday: Also lazy, but more impressive -- crockpot pot roast. Yum! Needed a bit more salt, but still very good. Saturday: Trader Joe's walnut and gorgonzola tortellini with a tomato pesto sauce. Again with the yum. Friday: Quick mac & cheese and leftovers before the Most Exciting Football Game Ever (and I don't really care about football. This was just an awesome game). Thursday is a mystery. I can't remember what it was. Wednesday, with its crazy storms and giant hail, was leftovers. Planned for the week: coconut pecan chicken strips, turkey tamale pot pie, DIY ravioli (if I can find wonton wrappers), and fish sticks (we were hungry at the grocery store). Orange chicken is a possible filler some night. Thanks to Bakespace for picking my humble little blog this week!
