Thinking with your Taste Buds

I want to start a discussion about recipes. I cook by thinking with my taste buds and want to teach this to everyone. To do this I would like to invite you to give me the name of a recipe that sounds good to you but calls for at least 1 ingredient that you don't really care for. List the ingredients and tell me which ingredient is the one you don't like. I feel sure that together we can come up with a substitute ingredient that will make this into a recipe you will enjoy. I may even be able to give you suggestions on simplifying the dish to speed up the preparation.
