Welcome to the work week

Sometimes I sure miss the night shift. Those times are Monday mornings...I miss my cats most on Monday mornings. My little Georgette gets used to company on the weekends and she looks so broken hearted to be left behind on Monday mornings. Siren on the other hand couldn't care either way as long as her spot in the closet hasn't been adjusted at all! We went on a road trip up Island on Saturday to have lunch at our hidden gem of a restaurant. What a disappointment, two thumbs down on Charlie's in Nanaimo. It used to serve a hot roast beef sandwich that hubby was fond of but it is off the menu now! I had a clubhouse and the Bacon was that horrible ultra cheap stuff that most people avoid like the plague. So down with Charlie's. Next time we go up we are going to try Modern Foods. The better a cook you become the less you like restaurant food. Oh well life goes on.
