ARG I am moving to Hawaii not Texas

I had been planning this move back to the United States from Germany. We (hubby and I) thought we were going to Texas. Well, as of I think Tuesday ( days have been a blur) we are moving to Hawaii. We are still leaving in January, just to a differnt state. I have been uber busy, since I have dogs to contend with and rules about animals arrival in Hawaii. Loads of money to stress about. You know the normal things when you move. LOL I am really looking forward to the spirtiual side of the house and the food of Hawaii. FRESH fruits and veg. Farmer Markets. I can smell the scents already. Plus it is a new thought process on the foods we will eat. New recipes awaiting for me to create and try. I am so excited! Right now it seems, that I dont have time to create- but I do I just need to find the time. On the cooking side of the house, due to some health issues I have gone back to eating every other day veggie. I am also eating and cooking more fish and chicken, not so much beef and pork. So coming up with new ideas on cooking fish and chicken have been interesting, but like any chef/cook sometime you forget to write down creations. (plus I never measure unless I am creating an actual recipe). I am hoping to at least take pictures, which I have updated my latest soup recipe with a photo. I guess I am saying in long words..I am sorry I have not been posting much. I will try in the future.
