My Misc. Dessert Corner

Why I want to be mentor in this category:
Baking is my passion; desserts are my specialty.


What inspires me in this category:
I think about how my father would have made something---he was a terrific baker.


Experience:
I'm the daughter of a baker and I have been making various desserts since I was 12 or 13 years old.


Biggest Lesson Learned:
Confidence is the best ingredient! My best desserts came about because I "knew" they would turn out great.


My Tips:

  • Use only the best and the freshest ingredients...nothing is worse than a perfect looking cookie or cake only to have it taste awful because the oil was rancid.
