Want to Learn How: i'm pretty adept at a broad range of baking but there's always room for improvement! oh! a good white cake recipe is what i need. white cake is my nemesis!

Occupation: free-lance pastry chef (aka unemployed!)

Associations: the only people i associate with at this point in time are family, friends, and my dog.

Schools: i graduated from Downey High School; attended one semester at JC Fullerton; took several film and screenwriting classes at Long Beach City College.

Interests: BAKING!!! other than that: reading, watching horror films, making charcters for rock band and writing.

Languages: english (not very well, though), terrible spanish and french, and some rudimentary irish/gallic

Books: my cooking cupboard is filled with Nigella and Martha books, but also a fair amount of other cook books. i'm starting to collect cookbooks and entertaining tomes from the 50's and 60's now as a hobby. when i'm not obessing over food i read mostly comics (batman is big on my list) and stuff from Neal Stephenson.

Music: i'm more of a classic rock gal but i've been known to bridge out. my essentials are: the who, floggin molly, silverchair, and queens of the stone age.

TV/Movies: you're my friend if you love horror films - for life. tv is a little all over the place for me: Heroes, House, America's Next Top Model, Project Runway, Top Chef, Ghosthunters, and Supernatural.

Travel: my travel is limited, i'm sad to say. i've been to mexico, las vegas, san francisco (loved it!) and new york. outside of the country i'd love to visit my homeland of ireland. i'd like to see most of europe and eastern europe. but i'm obsessed with seeing asia; i want to travel over china, japan and korea! inside the usa i'd like to see the northeast and the south, particularly louisiana.

Clubs: i was in the girl scouts for a little while, does that count? other than that - not so much. i'm a lone wolf.
