ABOUT ME

God gave me the reasons and wherewithall to get to Des Moines early. I am here, live in a more than adequate apartment and have never been so happy. I am cooking and making new friends and walking in the SkyWalk and twice it has been warm enough that I could get outside and walk some. Life could not be better. No, it is not perfect but close enough. I am so glad to be back on Bake Space. I missed y'all but life got impossible until I just decided I would come on here early. Most of my delongings are still in Florida but they will be moved in April. It is amazing what you can do without. I"M HOME. Never lived here before but have wanted this ever since I was a teenager. The reasons changed as I aged, but, it is still all here and more than I can even comprehend.

Thanks for the invitation! Good luck in your transition to Des Moines. I have in-laws, niece & nephew in Ames, which we love to visit. The annual Iowa State Fair is fabulous! Be sure to have a smoked turkey leg.
