ABOUT ME
I raised three children - all grown and on their own. My husband and his first wife raised seven before she died of cancer six years ago. Now we are raising - and feeding - his youngest daughter, aged 13. So I am back in the mommy business again, trying to cook nutritious things my stepdaughter will eat. We have a lot of family in the area and the grown children visit occasionally which sends me to the Internet in search of fun things to cook. There are two interesting food things in my life with my new husband. 1.I now own four recipe boxes: mine, my mother's, his mother's and his first wife's. Quite a treasure! 2. If you want to cook for a grateful man who thinks everything is delicious, find one who has been unexpectedly on his own with a bunch of kids for four years. He will rave about anything you put in front of him!
