Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

Cookies 

• Cooking Time: 10-12
• 1/2 c. vegetable oil
• four 1 oz. pieces of unsweetened chocolate
• 2 c. granulated sugar
• 4 eggs
• 2 tsp. vanilla
• 2 c. flour
• 2 tsp. baking powder
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• powdered sugar

Melt chocolate.

Mix oil, chocolate & granulated sugar.

Blend 1 egg at a time into the mixture.

Add vanilla.

Sift dry ingredients together and add to mixture.

Chill overnight (or for a few hours).

Roll in powdered sugar.

Cook on a greased pan at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

These are my favorite "Christmas" cookies. My family has made them during the holidays for as long as I can remember. I believe the recipe originated in one of the free cookbooks my grandmother got from her electric company.
